Tottenham Fan - Chris Deeley
After last week's win over Sunderland, our first of the season, it's time for the team to really start to pick up some momentum if we're even going to get halfway excited about a potential top four finish.
It's going to be a tough match against Crystal Palace, who have looked really good this season, but the match is at the Lane and we're in winning ways. If our all-Belgian centre-back pairing can keep another clean sheet, we're halfway there. It'd be easier if we'd managed to snag Yannick Bolasie from them over the summer, but that's the way it goes!
Harry Kane, obviously, will be the key going forward, but he'll need more support from the midfield and wings than he's had so far this season - he's looked isolated, and the likes of Moussa Dembele, Erik Lamela and Nacer Chadli haven't really helped. I'm hoping for a 2-1 to Spurs.
Crystal Palace - Simon Mills
Although conceding a heartbreaking last minute winner to City last week, on reflection, the more pragmatic Palace fans will be very pleased with our performance.
As in our encounter with Arsenal, the game could easily have gone the other way, with a number of decisions and chances favouring the away side. City will claim just as many incidents, injustices and opportunities to justify their win – with Scott Dann’s challenge on Aguero, a particular irritation for Pellegrini.
Turning to this week's clash with Tottenham, confidence will be high. Despite injuries to Ward and Delaney, Palace can field more than able deputies in Kelly and Hangeland. They will also hope that Connor Wickham is available after Glenn Murray’s departure as confidence is low that Campbell/Bamford’s can get the goals required.
Dealing with the misfiring, but ever threatening, Harry Kane is likely to be pivotal in this encounter. That being said, I'm confident given our recent away record and I'm predicting a solid 2-0 victory for Palace.
