From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

It’s a big game for…

Jose Mourinho: Every game at the moment is a big game for Mourinho. Chelsea have had a poor start to the season so far and they go into the game on the back of four defeats in six in the league. It’s probably not the best time to play against this in-form Tottenham side. They will take confidence from their last two results though, a 4-0 win at Maccabi Tel Aviv and 1-0 win albeit uninspiring against Norwich City.

Best stat…

12: Tottenham haven’t lost in the Premier League for 12 matches. An under pressure Jose Mourinho faces a tough challenge when they head to White Hart Lane.

Remember when…

Tottenham came out on top in an eight goal thriller at White Hart Lane last season?

Player to watch…

Harry Kane: The England forward has the best goals per game ratio (0.86) in London derbies. Kane has 12 goals in 14 games in London and will be looking to continue to improve that when they face Chelsea on Sunday.

Capital One Cup final, March 2015 - Chelsea 2 (Terry, Walker OG) Tottenham Hotspur 0

Premier League, January 2015 - Tottenham Hotspur 5 (Kane 2, Rose, Townsend, Chadli) Chelsea 3 (Costa, Hazard, Terry)
