Tottenham are ready to swoop for Portsmouth full back Nadir Belhadj according to reports today.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp showed signs of interest in the Algerian in the summer, and following the 27-year-old's recent upturn in form, is ready to revive his interest.
Redknapp signed Belhadj during his reign as Portsmouth manager, and having already taken Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch from his former club, would have few qualms about doing it again.
Portsmouth's dire financial problems mean they will be forced to listen to offers come January - although if Tottenham wish to sign him, they will have to sell first after Redknapp was told there was no budget for January transfers.
