Your support makes all the difference.Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has revealed that he is content with life on the South Coast despite being linked with a reunion with former manager Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur.
The France international had also been distracted by rumours of a switch to FA Cup holders Arsenal before bemoaning the club's transfer policy on Twitter during the summer break.
He wrote: "Six years of an amazing journey #saintsfc destroyed in one hour!"
Speaking after the Saints' 3-1 away victory over West Ham United, however, the 24-year-old insisted that he is fully focused on playing to the best of his abilities for Ronald Koeman's side.
"It was a long summer, now I'm focused on my team," he told BBC Sport at Upton Park.
"For now, it is Southampton. I keep playing and doing my best. I always say that I am happy at Southampton.
"I'm not going to hide the fact that it has been a long summer with a lot of speculation and a lot of thinking on my side to know if I have to make a big step.
"The club showed that they wanted to keep me. I always had respect for the fans and club. I always give my best and I was just thinking about my future.
"Today it is clear and I just have to concentrate on my football now."
Schneiderlin joined Southampton from Strasbourg in 2008 and played a major role in their meteoric rise from League One to the Premier League before representing the French national team at this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
According to reports, Pochettino remains interested in luring him away from St. Mary's while Arsene Wenger is also monitoring the situation.
