Your support makes all the difference.Tottenham Hotspur have apologised to ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, after embarrassingly spelling his name wrong on the back of a shirt which was presented to him before their 2-1 defeat by Arsenal in the League Cup last night.
Before kick-off at White Hart Lane, Gretzky, 54, a guest of the club's for the evening, was presented a Spurs' shirt with 'Gretsky' wrongly printed on the back.
After many Twitter users noticed the unfortunate error, Spurs sent out a tweet at half-time to Gretzky, offering their "sincere apologies".
The Canadian former ice hockey player, known as "the greatest of all time", took it all in his stride, replying to Spurs:
