Your support makes all the difference.Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris should be available for France's upcoming World Cup playoff against Ukraine despite missing a second straight match for Tottenham as he recovers from being knocked unconscious during a Premier League match.
Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas says Lloris was rested for Sunday's home 1-0 defeat by Newcastle because "the medical department advised he still needed a couple more days."
Villas-Boas added "I would expect him to be back for the (World Cup) playoffs for France."
Spurs have been criticized for allowing Lloris to play on despite being knocked out late in last Sunday's match against Everton after his head collided with Romelu Lukaku's knee. He missed Thursday's Europa League win over Sheriff Tiraspol.
Wayne Diesel, Spurs' head of medical services, said Sunday that Lloris wanted to play against Newcastle.
