The club are tracking Deportivo La Coruña goalkeeper Fabricio. The Spanish under-20 international has conceded seven goals in 19 games for the Deportivo B side this season and Gunners' manager Arsène Wenger is looking for reinforcements as doubts persist over the future of Jens Lehmann.

Aston Villa

The manager Martin O'Neill said he will continue to select defender Olof Mellberg for the first team, even if the Swedish international signs a pre-contract agreement with Juventus. "He is well aware he is in his last season," O'Neill said. "But the commitment is there every single week."

Birmingham City

Olivier Tebily has left St Andrews after the club paid up the remainder of his contract. The 32-year-old defender's deal was due to expire at the end of the season, but an agreement has been reached for his early exit. Tebily had not featured for the Blues' first-team since October 2006.

Blackburn Rovers

The Netherlands striker Maceo Rigters is looking to leave the club after making just six appearances since his move to Ewood Park last summer. The 23-year-old, who did not feature in the squad that beat Bolton on Sunday, has been linked with a number of Championship and Dutch clubs.

Bolton Wanderers

French defender Gerald Cid has left the club and returned to his homeland by signing for Ligue 1 side Nice. The 24-year-old, who joined the Trotters last summer from Bordeaux, has made just seven Premier League appearances. "I am happy because I wanted to return to France in the transfer window," he said.

Chelsea

Nicolas Anelka believes he can forge a successful partnership with fellow striker Didier Drogba, despite being seen as a potential replacement for the Ivory Coast forward, who is currently away at the African Nations Cup. "I think it is easy to play with Didier because he is a good player," the Frenchman said. "I know the way he plays."

Derby County

New signings Robbie Savage, Hossam Ghaly, Laurent Robert and Emanuel Villa are all ineligible for tonight's FA Cup replay at Sheffield Wednesday as they were signed after the two sides' initial meeting.

The manager Roy Hodgson could name a strong line-up for tonight's FA Cup third round replay at Bristol Rovers. Midfielder Jimmy Bullard may make a first start for the Cottagers since September 2006.

The manager Sven Goran Eriksson has told owner Thaksin Shinawatra that the club needs to sign at least two strikers to improve the club's attacking potential. "We have to create more chances," the Swede said. "It is a problem that has been hanging around us all season."

Manchester United

The club have been linked with the Hertha BSC midfielder Gilberto, although the player has refused to confirm whether he has received an offer. "I don't want to say much about it," the 31-year-old said. "I have received many offers. I might go to England, Portugal, or back to Brazil."

Middlesbrough

Jonathan Grounds said he is looking to follow in the footsteps of other team-mates who have progressed from the youth set-up into the first team. "I look at people like David Wheater," the 19-year-old said, "who've done excellent and managed to stake their own claim."

Newcastle United

Alan Smith has been given a two-match ban following his dismissal during the 6-0 defeat at Manchester United on Saturday. The 27-year-old will miss the FA Cup third round replay at home to Stoke tomorrow night, as well as the Premier League visit of Bolton on Saturday.

Portsmouth

The club have been linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Tiago Mendes. The Portuguese player only joined the Turin side in the summer but has failed to impress coach Claudio Ranieri. Pompey manager Harry Redknapp is reportedly willing to pay £8m for the former Chelsea player.

Antoine Sibierski has turned down the chance to return to Lille, his hometown club. "Lille contacted me three weeks ago to ask me if I wanted to get back to France," the 33-year-old said. "I told them 'No' straight away. I don't want to go back." The forward began his career at Les Dogues, making 97 appearances for the northern French side.
