Your support makes all the difference.Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has signed a new contract with the Barclays Premier League club, the player has announced on his Twitter account.
Sorensen, who joined the club from Aston Villa in 2008, will remain at the Britannia Stadium until the end of the 2013/14 season.
Sorensen 'tweeted': "Just signed a new contract this morning. Proud to be a Potter for another 2 1/2 years."
The 35-year-old Denmark international has played 13 games this season - five in the league, six in Europe and two in the Carling Cup.
Stoke made it a double-signing for their goalkeepers as Asmir Begovic, 24, also penned a new deal, committing to the club for a further four and a half years.
Tony Pulis welcomed the fresh commitment from his competing shot-stoppers.
"It's fantastic news that we have settled the immediate futures of our two main goalkeepers," he told the club's website.
"It's important to have good competition for places in all areas of the squad and nowhere is it better than there.
"In Asmir, I believe we have one of the best young goalkeepers in England who has shown his great potential since he came to the club and he certainly has a big part to play in our future as we look to continue the progress we have made.
"As I have stated before, though, it is also important to look after those who have got us where we are today, and Thomas has been a major influence upon what we have achieved.
"He has been an outstanding professional who has thrived upon the challenge now facing him and I am delighted to have secured his experience."
