The QPR manager Neil Warnock has admitted that his captain, Adel Taarabt, looks set to leave Loftus Road this summer – but thinks the youngster will grow to regret his decision.

The 22-year-old was a key catalyst in their promotion to the Premier League, leading to speculation linking him with a host of elite European clubs.

Arsenal and Chelsea have been mooted as potential destinations, while Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly made a £13.5m bid.

"He is missing his family in Marseilles," Warnock said. "If we get a big offer from a club in France that obviously gives him a chance to be closer to them."
