Arsene Wenger has moved Alexis Sanchez from the wing to start up front as the lone striker for the Gunners' Premier League trip to Southampton today.

Olivier Giroud is serving the second of his three-match suspension for head-butting Nedum Onuoha in the Gunners' 2-1 win over QPR on Boxing Day. Danny Welbeck is not in the squad after picking up a thigh injury.

Elsewhere, defender Calum Chambers, who signed from Southampton in the summer, has moved up to midfielder to replace Mathieu Flamini. Tomas Rosicky is in for Welbeck.
