Your support makes all the difference.Shinji Kagawa has signalled his determination to become integral to David Moyes’ plans by making his first move to impress the new Manchester United manager.
The 24-year-old, signed from Borussia Dortmund last year, is passing up the chance of extended leave this summer to put in an appearance on the Japanese leg of United’s pre-season tour.
Kagawa’s duties playing in the Confederations Cup for Japan entitles him to be on holiday in July. But with Kagawa certain to be a colossal draw when United play in Tokyo and Osaka, he has indicated he is willing to join the squad in an ambassadorial capacity and to train, even though he will not be available for the club’s fixtures in the country.
United’s commercial staff know that Kagawa’s presence will ensure capacity crowds when the club play Yokohama Marinos on July 23 at Nissan Stadium and Cerezo Osaka three days later at Osaka Nagai Stadium.
