Your support makes all the difference.Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he has no plans to retire at the end of the season as he is "living the dream", and hopes to extend his deal at Manchester United into the next campaign.
The 35-year-old is out of contract at Old Trafford in the summer, but Ferdinand says he will continue to play next season, even if it is not at United.
Speaking on BT Sport, when asked about his future, the defender replied: "Hopefully still playing – I want to continue playing.
"I’m enjoying my football and my legs haven’t given way yet.
"I want to continue – whether that be at Manchester United or somewhere else, depending what the club want to do. Time will tell, we’ll have to wait until the end of the season."
Ferdinand has made just seven league appearances for the struggling champions United this season, but he says, just like the end of the last campaign, he will hopefully hold talks soon.
"We’ll do what we did last season – wait until the end of the season, get it sorted out and speak to see where we’re at.
"Of course – that’s the dream. I’m living the dream and I’d like to continue [at United]. But we’ll have to wait and see."
