Your support makes all the difference.Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has made it clear he wishes to retain the services of Ledley King despite the player's persistent injury problems.
The club captain has been plagued by knee injuries which have prevented him having any lengthy run in the side.
With the England international's contract due to expire at the end of next season there has been some speculation about his future, something which Redknapp was quick to extinguish earlier today.
"As long as he's capable of playing games and as long as I'm here, I want Ledley King here for sure," said Redknapp.
Referring to King's injury woes the Tottenham manager said: "If you get 20 games out of Ledley he's worth a fortune - he's that good."
Redknapp also hinted that there could be a future role in a coaching capacity for King: "He came here as a schoolboy and is part of this club, and you'd like to think he'll be part of this club for many years to come - as a player and then who knows from there.
"He deserves to be looked after and I'm sure the chairman will look after him and he is part of everything we do."
Redknapp has given former players Les Ferdinand and Tim Sherwood coaching jobs since taking charge at White Hart Lane earlier this season.
