From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Harry Redknapp will play a 3-5-2 formation for Queens Park Rangers' opening match of the Premier League season.

LIVE:

Rio Ferdinand and Steven Caulker will form a new-look defence alongside stalwart Richard Dunne, while there is a place for Jordan Mutch, a £5m signing from Cardiff, in midfield.

Despite speculation linking him with moves to Liverpool and Newcastle this summer, Loic Remy will start up front for Redknapp. The French striker was a lone bright spark for the Toon last term, scoring 14 Premier League goals.

Steve Bruce names three new transfers in his XI, with Andrew Robertson, a £2.85m signing from Dundee United, Tom Ince and Robert Snodgrass all being named.

Jake Livermore, who impressed on loan at the Tigers last season, is also in the side after his move was made permanent.

Line-ups:

QPR: Green, Caulker, Ferdinand, Dunne, Simpson, Traore, Barton, Mutch, Faurlin, Remy, Austin

Hull City: McGregor, Davies, Chester, Bruce, Elmohamady, Robertson, Huddlestone, Livermore, Snodgrass, Ince, Jelavic
