Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Harry Redknapp and Anton Ferdinand both return to their boyhood clubs where they were a product of the West Ham youth academy. Redknapp went on to manager the Hammers for seven years. Rob Green also racked up a total of 241 appearances for West ham before a move to the west London.
Loic Remy could make his QPR debut after completing his £8m record transfer fee this week from Marseille. Redknapp will be hopeful his goals can drag the Hoops out of the relegation places by the end of the season. Joe Cole could face former boss Harry Redknapp, who handed him his first ever Premier League start at West ham. He rejected the chance to be re-united at QPR, opting for a move back to the Boleyn instead this transfer window.
This is the third successive London derby QPR will have faced, they beat Chelsea 1-0 and then drew 0-0 against Tottenham. They also booked a fourth round FA Cup tie, winning their replay against West Brom midweek, courtesy of a Jay Bothroyd winner. West Ham came unstuck against Manchester United on Wednesday, despite their best efforts they were beaten 1-0.
