Jack de Menezes and Tom Sheen look at Liverpool's entertaining victory against QPR, which saw four goals in the last seven minutes. With Mario Balotelli yet to find the net for the Reds in the league, it was Raheem Sterling - the focus of so much negative attention of late - who helped Brendan Rodger's side claim all three points. Harry Redknapp will take positives from the result, but he was scathing about the fitness and desire of Adel Tarrabt.
Chelsea remain unbeaten after an away win at Crystal Palace, although the Blues saw César Azpilicueta sent off. Will Manchester United be the team to stop Chelsea in their tracks next week?
Elsewhere, Arsene Wenger was seething after his side failed to beat Hull at the Emirates on Saturday with his team's defence once again letting him down. Arsenal are now 11 points behind the league leaders Chelsea.
Manchester City once again brushed aside Tottenham Hotspur, although they failed to score five or six like last season. Referee Jonathan Moss gave away four penalties in the match. The last time there were that many penalties in one game was Bradford versus Derby County in 2000.
Finally, the surprise result of the weekend was Sunderland's capitulation at Southampton, losing 8-0. Vito Mannone, the Sunderland goalkeeper, plans to ask his team-mates to join him in reimbursing the travel and ticket expenses of supporters who made the 650-mile round trip to watch their team lose.
