In comparison, West Brom have had a poor beginning to their season with two defeats out of two. But on a more positive note, Alan Irvine will take heart from their dramatic 7-6 penalty shootout win in the second round of the League Cup against Oxford United in midweek.
The last time both teams met was in battle to avoid relegation in March 2014 and it was Yossouf Mulumbu who broke the hearts of the Swansea supporters by scoring a late goal that would deny the home side the three points. The match ended 2-1.
