From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

The only teams yet to win in the Premier League this season meet when Queens Park Rangers take on Reading on Sunday.

QPR are rooted to the bottom of the table with just three points from nine matches, while Reading occupy 18th on four points with a game in hand. Manager Mark Hughes has come under fire for Rangers' wretched start, which followed a lively spending spree in the transfer market.

Reading, who beat QPR in a Capital One Cup clash back in September, head to Loftus Road on the back of a remarkable 7-5 cup loss to Arsenal on Tuesday.

KICK-OFF: Sunday, 1.30pm

PAST THREE MEETINGS…

QPR 2 (Hoilett, Cisse) Reading 3 (Gorks, Shorey, Pogbrebnyak), Capital One Cup, September 2012

QPR 3 (Taarabt, Faurlin, Smith) Reading 1 (Long), Championship, November 2010

Both teams have been beaten by Arsenal in the past week; QPR losing 1-0 in the league, before Reading's frantic 7-5 extra time defeat in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday.
