From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Crystal Palace host Aston Villa with the chance of leapfrogging their opponents this weekend and the Eagles have conceded just 3 goals in their last 6 league matches. Paul Lambert's side are on a three-match losing streak and need another win to secure their survival but their last victory on the road was back on New Years' Day.

In the crucial battle at the bottom Fulham will look to build on their win last weekend against Norwich, who sacked manager Chris Hughton in the week. The Cottagers will be confident as they are unbeaten in 11 games against the Canaries since the turn of the century, winning all 5 of the meetings between the sides at Craven Cottage in that time.

Cardiff, who suffered a huge blow in defeat to Palace last week, travel to Southampton looking to build on the worst points tally away from home in the league (7). Rickie Lambert has netted in his last 2 appearances against the Welsh outfit and has contributed to 13 league goals at home this season (7 goals and 6 assists).

Mark Hughes' Stoke side have suffered defeat in just one of their last 13 league matches at the Britannia and host a Newcastle side struggling in front of goal without top scorer Loic Remy. Nevertheless, while Papiss Demba Cisse may only have scored twice this season he's netted in all 4 of his Premier League appearances against the Potters.

Everton moved a step closer to attaining a Champions League berth next season with a win over Arsenal but 7 teams have won more matches on the road than the Toffees in the current campaign (6). Adam Johnson is the only Sunderland player to have scored more than two goals in the league at the Stadium of Light this season (4).

Tottenham travel to West Brom having lost three successive away matches, without registering on the scoresheet in the process. However, the Baggies run of 6 league matches without a win at home (5 of which have been draws) is twice as long as any other team in the top-flight.

Five of the last six matches between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield have seen the spoils shared. The hosts will be confident that they can protect an unbeaten run at home against the Citizens that stretches back to 2003, when a Nicolas Anelka brace cancelled out Milan Baros' opener. The visitors, however, haven't lost any of their last 10 matches on the road in the league.

None of the last 6 meetings between Swansea and Chelsea have seen more than 2 goals scored between the sides, with the Blues keeping clean sheets in each of the last 3. Only 35% of Chelsea's goal tally have come away from home this season, with Mourinho's side having won just 1 of their last 7 on the road in all competitions.
