Newcastle United v Crystal Palace: Premier League match preview
A look into this weekend’s clash between Newcastle and Crystal Palace taking place at St. James' Park

This week sees Tony Pulis’s men travel to Tyneside to face a Newcastle side without Alan Pardew. The Newcastle manger will be missing his second game due to his three game stadium ban. Luckily for Newcastle they are safely sat in 9th position and have the certainty of another season in the top flight of English football. Sadly this is not something Tony Pulis can promise his men.
With Palace picking up 5 points out of a possible 15 in the league the South London team will feel that they have a chance to capitalise on a vulnerable Newcastle. Newcastle will be coming into this match off the back of a 1-0 defeat to bottom of the league Fulham last weekend.
Tony Pulis has also confirmed that Palace will this week be without top scorer Marouane Chamakh for this weekend’s match up. But the Palace boss will be happy to hear that Newcastle will also be without their talisman, 13 goal Loic Remy will be missing alongside fullbacks Mathieu Debuchy and Davide Santon
