Your support makes all the difference.Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech will face former employer Chelsea this weekend, but a mix-up meant he might have been doing so without a fresh pair of gloves.
His move across London during the summer was one of the biggest deals of that transfer window, however it seems someone forgot to tell the Adidas post room.
Cech's supplier accidentally sent his latest pair of personalised gloves to Chelsea's Cobham training ground, rather than Arsenal's base at London Colney.
Thankfully for Cech, his former employer didn't take the opportunity to disrupt his preparations for Sunday's game at the Emirates and forwarded on the gloves.
The Telegraph quote a 'Chelsea insider' as saying: "There were a few smiles and mischievous remarks when Petr’s gloves turned up here, but we made sure they got back to him as soon as possible."
Cech has kept 10 clean sheets at Arsenal this season, confirming fears at Chelsea that the goalkeeper would strengthen one of their main Premier League rivals.
Ahead of the match, Arsenal top the table with Chelsea in 14th.
