A video surfaced online on the first day of United’s pre-season tour in Australia allegedly showing the pair involved in an altercation.
But Solskjaer is adamant the footage has been misinterpreted and claims there are “no problems” at all, despite Pogba’s intent to push for a transfer and seek a “new challenge”.
“What I have to say about Paul, for example, it looks like it’s gonna be a media, I don’t wanna call it… but it’s an agenda against Paul,” Solskjaer claimed.
“He’s a top, top bloke. He’s a great, great professional, he’s never been any problems, he’s got a heart of gold.
“And, for example, Jesse and Paul yesterday walking around and it’s portrayed as a fight between the two boys and I know you’re here to sell players and sell stories, but there’s no problems between the boys at all.
“They’re all professional, pre-season has been very good so far.”
Pogba will feature in Saturday’s pre-season opener against Perth Glory, with speculation continuing over a move.
Real Madrid and Juventus have registered an interest, but with two years remaining on his contract, with an option for a further year, United insist they do not need to sell.
