Park eyes Manchester United treble

Park Ji-sung has set his sights on completing a hat-trick of trophies with Manchester United this season.

After helping the Red Devils retain the Carling Cup by beating Aston Villa at Wembley on Sunday, Park will now set his sights on the Barclays Premier League before United attempt to complete their Champions League demolition job on AC Milan at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Fresh impetus was certainly injected into United's domestic campaign last weekend, with Manchester City's win at Chelsea meaning United will reclaim top spot if they beat Wolves at Molineux tomorrow.

Park confirmed confidence is high in the Old Trafford camp and with the business end of the season now looming, he feels a glittering end is in sight.

"We could win the Premier League and the Champions League. We are thinking about that," said Park.

"We just have to do the same as last year and remain focused on every single match.

"I feel confident. Winning the League Cup set us up for the rest of the season so now we will just keep trying to win all our matches and see where we end up."

If Park is selected to face Wolves, he could not be going into the clash in better mood.

After missing out on so many big occasions since his move to Old Trafford, the South Korean started the weekend showpiece. He then followed up by skippering his country to victory over the Ivory Coast at Loftus Road on Wednesday.

"It has been a fantastic week for me," he said.

"We won the League Cup at Wembley, which was a great feeling. Then I joined up with the national team and played a strong game there, which gave me even more confidence.

"But all our international duties are over now, so the focus is on our club team.

"It is Manchester United all the way from now on."

With a number of his senior players, including Edwin van der Sar and Paul Scholes, no longer required for internationals, Ferguson's team selection at Wolves will be interesting.

After being left on the bench for the start of last weekend's encounter before winning the trophy with his second-half header, Wayne Rooney is expected to be recalled.

However, with the meeting against David Beckham and his Milan team-mates so close, Ferguson will want to ensure the knee injury that caused a scare after the Villa game is fully healed.
