The Canaries have accumulated five points from their last three outings to keep them in the top half of the table.
Lambert is unsurprised by the sequence of results due to the belief he has in his team.
"I don't expect anything less than what I've seen. They're really top lads," he told Canaries Player.
"They never let me down and I trust them. Trust is the big thing - I trust them to perform and not let themselves or myself down."
Two of the five points came from away draws at Everton and Wolves, and while Lambert is pleased with the performances, he insists it is Norwich's home form that will prove decisive.
"We've gone away from home and got a couple of points. We had a really hard game at Goodison," Lambert said.
"It was really tough at Wolves as well. We played well in both games.
"But if we take care of our home games, hopefully we'll be okay.
"The league is extremely tough, but if you can string together a three-match unbeaten run and keep picking up points, then you'll be okay."
Title-chasing Tottenham travel to Carrow Road on Tuesday night and Lambert revealed defender Ritchie de Laet, on loan from Manchester United, could figure.
"We'll see how Ritchie is. He's not trained for a couple of weeks," he said.
"His last game was against Swansea when he hurt his back. Hopefully he'll be okay."
