In what could be his final league game for Arsenal, Bacary Sagna starts at centre-back for Arsenal against the effectively relegated Norwich City at Carrow Road today. Jack Wilshere, who has not featured since suffering a foot injury playing for England in March, is on the bench for Arsene Wenger's side, boosting the midfielder's chances of making Roy Hodgson's World Cup squad.

The usually right-back Sagna, who is out of contract at the end of the season, was quoted in Europe1 yesterday as saying: "I'm out of contract, as everyone knows. I still consider myself as an Arsenal player at present.

"But actually we had a small problem to agree [with the club], and I don't think I'll stay at Arsenal at the end of the season."

In addition, on his 28th birthday, Abou Diaby is on the bench again for the Gunners, and Lukasz Fabianski starts in place of Wojciech Szcesny in goal, an indication that regular No 1 Szczesny will start in next weekend's FA Cup final against Hull City.
