Newcastle host Crystal Palace in the Premier League tonight as both teams seek to make it back-to-back wins in the division.

Newcastle had lost five in a row in the top flight before recording a somewhat surprising 2-0 away victory over Everton on Saturday thanks to a Callum Wilson brace, while Palace were 1-0 winners at home to Wolves on the same day, regaining some momentum of their own after an uninspiring set of results.

Eberechi Eze netted for Roy Hodgson’s team in that Palace win, and supporters of the club will hope the exciting young midfielder can be influential again at St James’ Park.

But Newcastle will be buoyed by their impressive victory against Everton, and Magpies fans will hope Wilson’s fine double last time out sets up another match-winning performance on home turf tonight.
