Nemanja Matic today insisted Chelsea have the squad to make history in 2015 by winning the quadruple.

Chelsea secured an impressive 2-0 win at Stoke last night to restore their three point advantage over defending champions Manchester City in the title race.

Next month they play Liverpool in the Capital One Cup semi-final and also begin their quest for the FA Cup with a Third Round tie at home to Watford.

In February Chelsea will take on Paris Saint Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League and are strong favourites to progress in all three cup competitions.

Matic believes the quality of Chelsea's football has made them start thinking the almighty feat of lifting all four trophies this season is a realistic target.

"I think it's (the quadruple) possible - we have a chance. I don't want to say that we're going to win it but we're going to try," report the Evening Standard.

"We have quality but other teams are also strong and have quality also. But we will try and we will see if we can do it.

"I am confident, I believe in my team, my team-mates, so everything is possible.

"Its always important when you are mentally prepared like we are to win. In this moment we are confident, we are top of the table and we will try to continue like this."
