Mark Noble has backed Liverpool to still go on to win the Premier League title despite his West Ham side putting a dent in their challenge by earning a draw at the London Stadium.

Sadio Mane's opener caused controversy due to James Milner's offside position in the build-up, but the Hammers responded with Michail Antonio finishing a clever set-piece move before the break.

Liverpool failed to find the breakthrough in the second half to win the game, leaving Jurgen Klopp to make a series of complaints and the lead over Manchester City now just three points, but Noble insists they can hold it together to win their first league title since 1990.

"It's just that Liverpool want to win that league so much," Noble told Sky Sports. "They've got a great chance of doing it but the fans have just got to stick by them, keep supporting them because it is going to be tough.

"Especially when you're leading and you're top and everyone is chasing you and you know City are not going to rest for one game. You need to stick together.

"But I'm pretty sure they're going to be fine. They've got a fantastic squad of players and a world-class manager.

"It's going to be a fantastic end to the season to watch because there's going to be so many twists and turns."

Next up for the Reds is Bournemouth at home, before the first leg of the Champions League last 16 tie vs Bayern Munich at Anfield, with resurgent Manchester United next up at Old Trafford.

West Ham meanwhile remain 12th and face a London derby at Crystal Palace next.
