Paul Pogba believes Manchester United have become “more offensive” since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment as caretaker manager.

Solskjaer secured his third win in as many games on Sunday, beating Bournemouth 4-1 at Old Trafford, with help from two first-half goals from Pogba.

The midfielder shared a tense working relationship with Jose Mourinho, Solskjaer’s predecessor, with the pair clashing over United’s previous style of play.

Since Solskjaer’s arrival, United have scored 12 goals in three games and Pogba has contributed heavily, scoring four and assisting three.

When asked to put his finger on what has changed since Mourinho’s departure and Solskajer’s arrival, Pogba pointed to United’s approach.

“It’s different, we still won games with the old manager,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s just a different style of playing. We’re more offensive and create more chances.

“That’s how we want to play, we want to attack and the manager wants to attack.”

Pogba added: “We needed a win and we had a great performance. There’s still a long way to go.

“We are Manchester United and we need to keep up. We need to be at the top of the league. A team needs to enjoy playing football, that’s it.”
