Arsenal supporters took to Twitter today before the Manchester United fixture to voice their delight that ex-United striker Danny Welbeck starts.

Welbeck has played only three games in the last 10 months, after undergoing knee surgery.

The 25-year-old headed in the dramatic late winner for Arsenal in their last Premier League game, the 2-1 win over league leaders Leicester.

Welbeck of course scored the winning goal for the Gunners in their FA Cup triump over United at Old Trafford last season.

The Englishman takes his place in the Arsenal starting line-up today in front of Olivier Giroud.

HERE IS SOME OF THE BEST TWITTER REACTION

Welbeck joined Arsenal from Manchester United for £16m in September 2014.
