Your support makes all the difference.Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo will all be part of Manchester United's matchday squad for Saturday's Premier League meeting with Newcastle United.
The United manager has been without Pogba since the midfielder picked up a hamstring injury in the victory over Basel in September, while Rojo and Ibrahimovic are long-term absentees after both suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage in April.
“All three selected for the match [in the squad]” Mourinho said. “I didn't like to speak while he was injured but you can clearly see Manchester United this season before Paul's injury and after Paul's injury.
“There are qualities in our football that influence our approach in matches with Pogba and without Pogba. It's as simple as that.”
On Ibrahimovic, Mourinho added: “Zlatan, last season, we played with him every minute until he was injured. This season we learn how to play without him. We've played in a different way but he's a very important player for us and of course, we welcome him back.
“Of course, an incredible personality to fight such an important injury. We were all saying in 2017 he will be back, but one thing is 31 December 2017, another thing is mid-November. He was, as an injured player, the same super professional he is when fit, so fantastic. Fantastic work.
“Same with Marcos. A very important injury too, big surgery, he played already with the Under-23s on Wednesday. He's fine, confident and also ready,” Mourinho said.
“Paul's injury was not the same dimension, not surgery, but it was a bad injury. But all three are back.”
