Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe was injured in the warm-up ahead of their Premier League match against Liverpool, forcing manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer into a late change.

Tuanzebe was seen heading down the tunnel after warming up, Rojo was quickly called to join the starting XI in their preparations for the game.

“It’s not ideal, but from what I know, he’s a good character and should be OK,” Roy Keane said of Rojo on Sky Sports after hearing the news. “He’s had a tough time at United, but given an opportunity you have to go and take it.”
