Queens Park Rangers were relegated from the Premier League after only one season back among the elite following a 6-0 loss to Manchester City that saw a Sergio Aguero hat-trick.

The bottom of the league London club's return to the second tier is confirmed with two games still to play this season.

Meanwhile, Manchester City consolidated their grip on second place. The Citizens are now three points ahead of Arsenal who have two games in hand.

Aguero scored a hat-trick, while Aleksandar Kolarov, James Milner and David Silva also contributed to the home team's classy triumph.
