The Reds spurned several chances before finally taking the lead right before half-time against Tottenham, and that seemed to alleviate the pressure on Klopp’s team who ran out 3-1 winners.
Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Sadio Mane found the back of the net and Klopp took as much pleasure in the scorers as the goals themselves and the quality of team display.

“A great game, super intense, the goals in the right moments, the right people scored the goals. All good apart from Joel Matip had to go off," Klopp told BT Sport at full-time.
“What I saw today was it’s not about shape or form, but who we are. That’s us. Today, the second half especially, that’s us.”
The Reds were largely dominant throughout the match, restricting Spurs to just three shots throughout the 90 minutes.
Klopp pointed out that his team were superior on and off the ball and dealt well with Spurs’ tactical shifts, with Jose Mourinho starting with a back three and then altering matters with a double sub at the break.
"It was a massive fight and [good] football on top of that. It was just a good performance and I saw a lot of things i wanted to see.
“Offensively, the way we played I thought we coped really well with their formation, we were so often in and around the box and the counter-press really good.”
Liverpool moved back up to fourth with the win and face fifth-placed West Ham at the weekend.
