Liverpool have made two changes to the side that ran out against Swansea two weekends ago.

With Adam Lallana side-lined due to injury and Georginio Wijnaldum completely ruled out, Emre Can and Daniel Sturridge have made their way into Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI.

Lallana had been an uncertainty for the Reds after picking up a groin injury against Swansea but he’s been deemed fit enough to make it into this evening’s match day squad.

As for Manchester United, Jose Mourinho has similarly made two changes to the team that were held to a 1-1 draw by Stoke on Sunday 2 October.

Marouane Fellaini and Ashley Young return to the side, with Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard missing out. The two have both been dropped to the bench.

If Liverpool can win tonight by more than three points they’ll move to the top of the league while a win for United would see them draw level with Klopp’s men.

Starting XI

Liverpool: Karius, Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Milner, Can, Henderson, Coutinho, Mané, Sturridge, Firmino.

Manchester United: De Gea, A Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Blind, Fellaini, Pogba, Rashford, Herrera, Young, Ibrahimovic.
