Your support makes all the difference.Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara opted against offering information on his future amid reports he is wanted by at least two clubs in the Premier League.
The Champions League winner was in action on Thursday night in the Uefa Europa League as Spain earned a last-minute 1-1 draw against Germany.
Thiago played the full 90 minutes and produced an accomplished display as usual, but post-game the talk was around his future at club level.
Liverpool have been heavily linked over the past couple of months, while Manchester United have recently been suggested as suitors, too.
But when asked about where he might be headed, he merely pointed out he was a Bayern Munich player and currently had international matters to attend to.
“I only think about the game against Ukraine. Afterwards, we will see,” he told journalists.
“Bayern is my home and I am happy to be there.”
When pressed further on his future and asked if he would pick Liverpool or Manchester United, given the opportunity, the midfielder merely smiled and said goodbye.
With just one year left on his contract, Bayern have made no secret of the fact he wants to leave and that they will sell.
The former Barcelona midfielder starred in the centre of the park in the Nations League clash and his country now play Ukraine on 6 September, after which it is likely his future will be resolved.
