There is a growing belief at Anfield that Liverpool can win the Premier League title, and that has extended to 'God', aka Robbie Fowler.

The legendary striker, who the Kop named after the Almighty due to his prowess in front of goal, has revealed he can see Liverpool collecting their first league title since 1990.

"Every day I'm thinking more and more that they can do it," Fowler told Talksport.

Liverpool have just four games remaining this season and after the 3-2 victory over Manchester City last weekend, the title is in their own hands.

This weekend Liverpool take on Norwich before what appears the biggest hurdle in the race for the title - a meeting with Chelsea at Anfield. Fowler expects a tough game for Liverpool against Jose Mourinho's side and identifies the Blues as the biggest threat to the Reds' title ambitions.

"I still wouldn’t write Chelsea off because they are a good team and they just know how to get results, but it is in Liverpool’s hands," said Fowler when speaking to Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.

Fowler continued: "Everyone is saying Chelsea haven’t got a goalscorer, but they have got some fantastic defenders. They just don’t concede goals."

Fowler continued: "You look at the performance when they went to Man City not that long ago and deserved to win, so you can imagine them going to Anfield and playing like that.

"Hopefully, they won't get the same result, but there will be twists and turns up at the top. But it is looking good at the minute."
