From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Liverpool's Jose Enrique, Lucas Leiva and Dejan Lovren took some time out of their training schedule to test each other’s knowledge with a game of Head’s Up.
Ranging from celebrations, to Liverpool legends, and finally current team-mates, the trio had their brains probed to see who would come out on top. In a video made by bookmakers’ Betfair, Lucas takes the hot seat for the first round, and he’s tasked with identifying a number of different celebrations that you may or may not recognise.
Next up, Dejan Lovren tries to guess Kop legends ranging from Steven Gerrard to Kenny Dalglish. Luis Suarez also makes the cut, and when Lovren struggles to identify his former colleague Luis Suarez, Lucas gives him a helping hand by kissing his wrists to copy the Uruguayan’s celebrations.
Finally, it’s Enrique’s turn, and he’s tasked with naming those who he plays with every single week. Unsurprisingly, he gets five out of five.
One comical moment that Enrique might want to keep quiet is his clue for Jose Mourinho as “the best manager in the world”, something that Brendan Rodgers may want to enquire about. We’re sure the Liverpool boss won’t mind too much – though Enrique might be given an extra lap around the training pitch just to remind him who’s boss.

The video has been released by Betfair ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
