Your support makes all the difference.Everton manager David Moyes last night insisted that he would use money from the sale of Joleon Lescott to bring in some experienced new players before the transfer window closes.
Lescott, the England defender, is set to bring his transfer saga to a close today by completing a move to Manchester City for a fee of around £22m.
With the transfer window closing a week on Tuesday, Moyes does not intend to mess around as he looks to strengthen his team after starting the season with back-to-back Premier League defeats to Arsenal and Burnley.
Moyes, who has been highly critical of City for their public pursuit of Lescott, could not resist another dig at the Manchester club over the way they have conducted themselves over Lescott.
"We shouldn't have been made to wait this amount of time for what we feel is the right cash for the lad," Moyes said.
"We definitely need freshening up and we will try and do that. You can always spend money if you pay the right prices."
