When Manchester City drew 2-2 with Queens Park Rangers on November 8, they trailed Jose Mourinho’s men by eight points. But City have won their last four league games and they are now just three points adrift of Chelsea.
City will be on a high, following their Champions League victory over Roma in midweek and are expected to ease past a Leicester side that are without a win in their last 10 league games, and rooted to the bottom of the table.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side will be without their most prolific striker after Sergio Aguero suffered a knee injury in last week’s win over Everton. But City will be boosted by the return of Yaya Toure, whose ban only applies to UEFA competitions.
Leicester have picked up just two points in the league, since their 5-3 win over Manchester United in September. But the hosts will welcome the return of their captain Wes Morgan from suspension. Paul Konchesky is also available after the red card he picked up against Aston Villa was overturned.
