Jurgen Klopp attempted to avoid overselling himself when he opted to describe himself as the "normal one".

Yet somehow the comment made by the new Liverpool boss in his opening press conference managed to garner as much attention as when Jose Mourinho gave himself the title of the "special one". So much so that the club shop in the centre of Liverpool has started selling shirts with exactly that on the back.

A fan of the Reds posted a picture of the home jersey, with the name 'NORMAL' on the back complete with the number '1' underneath.

With Liverpool fans in a frenzy of excitement ahead of Klopp's first game in charge, the shirt could be a popular seller.

Spurs vs Liverpool preview

The German took his first full training session earlier this week ahead of Saturday's match at White Hart Lane against Tottenham.
