From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Famed for his lack of patience with youth prospects and players unwilling to defend, who will incoming Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho look to offload when he finally arrives at Old Trafford?

With this past season yielding a joint-record low of 35 goals conceded, with only 49 scored, the former Chelsea manager will undoubtedly be looking to make additions - both to an uncertain back four as well as a youthful attacking lineup.

His predecessor, Louis van Gaal, was praised from his promotion of youngster from the club's storied academy system but the likes of Marcus Rashford and Timothy Fosu-Mensah only came into the side to paper over the cracks elsewhere.

The result? No position is safe, and thus we give you nine players who may be sleeping restlessly the next few nights.

Mourinho is expected to arrive shortly, so who should get ready to depart?
