Ahead of the match at St James' Park, we take a look at how the sides' midfielders Jack Colback and Jake Livermore compare.

Last time these two teams met, Newcastle boss Alan Pardew was handed a seven match ban for a head-butt on Hull’s David Meyler.

The Magpies are in a similar state of turmoil this time as they prepare to host Hull. Newcastle are glued to the bottom of the table having not won a game this season and fans are calling for Pardew’s head.
