Hoddle has revealed that Teddy Sheringham, Darren Anderton and Goran Bunjevcevic had played in Sunday's 2-0 win over Southampton while they were only 70 per cent fit.
With a long list of players either injured or suspended, the Spurs manager must decide whether to keep faith with them against their Third Division opponents at White Hart Lane, or save them for Sunday.
"I've a few tricky decisions to make," said Hoddle. "I had three players against Southampton who played only 70 per-cent fit and we took a risk on them. It paid off because we won, but now we have to decide whether or not to rest them."
Tomas Repka is set to become a West Ham player after successfully passing a medical. The Czech defender will complete a £5.5m move from the Italian side Fiorentina.
Queen's Park Rangers have revealed that a third bidder has entered the running to take the club out of administration. The Loftus Road plc chief executive, David Davies, told the club's website: "We now have three interested parties. People know about the other two, but a new one came forward over the weekend, based outside the UK." The latest bidder is a US group, which has emerged as a rival to consortiums led by businessmen Brian Melzack and Maurice Fitzgerald.
The West Bromwich Albion manager, Gary Megson, is still keen on signing Danny Dichio despite the Sunderland striker's loan spell at The Hawthorns coming to an end after the player broke his foot last weekend.
