Your support makes all the difference.For the first time Alan Curbishley can start to feel like he does not have to keep more than one eye on relegation worries. The demise of the transfer market and the financial woes striking football mean that neat, nimble clubs such as Charlton are better placed than many. A top 10 finish must be the aim, with the hope of sneaking into Europe. Charlton have plenty of steel, especially away from home, to add to their pleasing play. But goals are a premium which may ultimately count against them. The recent good run has coincided with the return of midfielder Scott Parker and although Claus Jensen is not guaranteed a place at present he is still one of the most talented in the Premiership. In goal, Dean Kiely continues to excel. But injuries would severely damage what is a small squad, as was shown at the start of the season. Next year could be a big one for Charlton.
