Guus Hiddink had to lambaste a member of his own backroom staff as the two benches clashed at the end of the ill-tempered London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.

The final stages of the game descended into farce after title-chasing Spurs had blown a two goal lead to allow the Blues back into the game - the draw meant that Leicester City were crowned Premier League champions.

As the final whistle blew both sets of players and staff were involved in a pushing and shoving and shouting argument, with 69-year-old Hiddink pushed over into the dugout and Diego Costa accused of biting Jan Vertonghen, although that looks unfounded.

As Hiddink looked to calm the situation, pushing his players towards the dressing room, he also was forced to shout out massage therapist Manoel Ribeiro.

"Who do you think you are? Remember who the boss is!" Hiddink is reported to have shouted at the Brazilian, who is said to have been arguing alongside Chelsea striker Diego Costa.

Tottenham reserve goalkeeper Michel Vorm was another at the centre of the furious row, defending team-mate Danny Rose after Chelsea players accused the left-back of being the one to push Hiddink to the ground; footage shows that the incident was purely accidental.

The Football Association has so far been quite on the matter, although they are expected to bring the hammer down on the two clubs for failing to control their players.

A record number of yellow cards, nine from Spurs and three from Chelsea, were shown by referee Mark Clattenburg during the game, with a couple of Tottenham players lucky that they were not sent off.

The FA have already requested TV footage from BBC and Sky Sports, while Chelsea will also hand over CCTV footage from the tunnel.
