Manchester City‘s bid to retain their Premier League title continues at Craven Cottage this weekend when they take on Fulham.

Pep Guardiola’s side sit second currently, two points behind Liverpool but with a game in hand on the Reds after their triumph over Swansea in the FA Cup quarter-finals seeing them miss the last round of league fixtures.

But City will nonetheless be confident of retaking the lead in the title race, with Liverpool not in action against Spurs until Sunday.

Fulham meanwhile have collected a mere 17 points from 31 games, and have not won in any competition since January.

That form, which includes seven straight defeats and just four goals scored, has left them staring relegation in the face as they are now 13 points off safety.

Prediction…

Fulham 0-3 Manchester City

Recent results and the league table in general suggest City will win this at a canter.

Guardiola has had a number of his stars performing at their best in recent weeks, and that was before the return of Kevin de Bruyne, Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho and John Stones to training this week.

Meanwhile Fulham are in dire straits, and their inability to muster a draw from either the Chelsea or Liverpool game has seen allowed fellow strugglers to take advantage and extend the gap between the London club and safety.

If the likes of Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane maintain the goalscoring form with England and Germany recently, this will be a comfortable victory for City.
