Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is optimistic of a comeback from a chronic bowel condition next season. Fletcher has not played since November as a result of a condition known as ulcerative colitis.
He is yet to return to training and has taken some coaching responsibilities that Paul Scholes gave up when the veteran returned to the squad. "I'm not ready to come back playing or training yet but I'm listening to the medical people and trying to get myself right," Fletcher said.
