The Spaniard has struggled for game time at the north London club since joining last summer and has subsequently found himself on the periphery of Pochettino’s squad.
Indeed, the forward has managed just one Premier League start this season and scored one league goal – in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Swansea earlier this year.
With the season drawing to a close, Llorente is looking for opportunities elsewhere, the Daily Mirror reports, and is open to returning to Athletic Bilbao where he spent 12 years as a player.
Llorente has indicated previously that he would be open to moving back to Bilbao.
Last summer he said: “Athletic Club are my home and if they make an offer, a return could happen.
“I enjoyed many wonderful moments at the club that I will never forget and Athletic will always hold a special place in my heart.
“If they do make me a proposal to come back, then I would have to think about it and yes, maybe it could happen.”
Llorente, 33, came through the youth ranks at Athletic Bilbao before leaving for Juventus in 2013.
