A mistake by Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford helped Leicester City to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to seven games – though the visitors will be disappointed with the 1-1 draw at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.
With Everton hanging on to the lead given to them by James Rodriguez in the first half, England keeper Pickford let Youri Tielemans’s shot squirm into the net in the 67th minute.

Rodriguez’s 30th-minute finish was a beauty, but Leicester dominated for large periods – especially after the break.
Despite that it was Everton who actually finished strongly, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin missing a chance to win it.
The draw left Leicester in third spot with 39 points, two points behind leaders Manchester City – who have played a game fewer – and one behind Man United, who were stunned by bottom Sheffield United on Wednesday.
Everton, meanwhile, remain in seventh spot on 33 points, although they have games in hand on most of the sides above them.
